    She was born October 31, 1962, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late James L. Robertson and Marjorie Moots Robertson. Marcena had been employed by the Frontier School District. She had many friends and loved ones.

    Larry L. Griffin, 78, of Marietta passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio. He was born October 6, 1947, in Marr, Ohio, a son of the late Clarence “Mac” Griffin and the late Bessie Hall Griffin.
    Larry had been employed as an equipment operator for Enbridge (formerly River Gas Co.) and was a former member of the West Virginia National Guard. Larry’s favorite hobby was farming. He also enjoyed teasing his many friends and family.

    Ronald Lewis Heiney, 71, a long time resident of New Matamoras and previously of Marietta, passed away at his home following a period of declining health, July15, 2026.
    He was born in Parkersburg, WV, on August 31, 1954, a son of the late Roy C. Heiney and the late Annabelle Hutchinson Heiney. Ron had been employed by the Ohio Valley Cab Company.

    Jim was the epitome of a hard-working man. Devoted entirely to his family, he dedicated his life to ensuring they were always safe, supported, and deeply cared for. To those who knew him best, Jim was a fiercely loyal husband, son, and father whose quiet strength was a constant anchor. When he wasn’t working, Jim found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending quiet hours in his garden and took great pride in shooting and practicing at the range.
