Constance “Connie” N. Ward
Constance “Connie” N. Ward, 80, of Marietta passed away December 9, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 17, 1939 in Oswego, NY to Elmon Lee Taplin and Leah Mae Caster Taplin Matthews. She was a graduate of Oswego High School.
In 1978 Connie married James Ward who survives with her children Donald R. (Deborah D.) Turley of St. Marys and Deborah Kay Clatterbuck of Marietta. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. A sister Yvonne Consalvo of Florida and a half sister Sheila Lewis of Tennessee and several nieces, nephews and brothers-in-law also survive.
In addition to her parents Connie was preceded in death by a son Daniel R. (Anita) Turley and a half brother David.
Funeral services will be held 12 pm Friday December 13th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Marietta. Friends may call the church 1 hour prior to the service. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family.
