Lisa Jackson Koon
Lisa Jackson Koon, 44, of Watertown, passed away at her home at 12:25 pm on Saturday, June 11, 2011.
She was born July 28, 1966 in Marietta to William Jackson and Carolyn Carter Jackson. Lisa was a 1984 graduate of Fort Frye High School and had worked at the Washington County Sheriff Department as a Corrections Officer.
On May 28, 1988 she married Jack E. Koon who survives with their daughter Taylor. In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by sisters Carole Sue (Vince) Fallert of Warrenton, MO, Kathy (Jim) Biery of Williamstown and Amy (Christopher) Hart of Okinawa, Japan and a brother Douglas Carter of Rosedale WV. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Wednesday, June 15th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Zach Waite officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Bank Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 pm Tuesday until the service with the family present on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8.
