Josephine Dettorre
Josephine Dettorre, 102, of Marietta, Ohio, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
She was born March 4, 1924, in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of Salvatore and Rose Tortorici Casuccio. She was formerly a member of the Covenant Presbyterian church in Steubenville and First Baptist Church upon moving to Marietta.
She is survived by her son Michael Dettorre (Christine); grandchildren Micha Anthony (Greg), Seth Dettorre (Noell); great grandchildren Trent (Emily) Anthony, Colin Anthony and Liam and Ellie Dettorre, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her husband Frank Dettorre, her parents, sister Marie D’Alessi, and brothers John Casuccio and Joseph Edmond Casuccio.
In accordance with Josephine’s wishes, cremation will be observed with no services.
The family wishes to thank the staff and Hospice at Lancaster House for their compassionate care.
