Junior Ray “Jake” Tidd
Junior Ray “Jake” Tidd, 54, of Marietta passed away at 2:29 am, Monday, April 20, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born December 24, 1971, in Marietta a son of the late Ronald G. Tidd and Irene Leasure Tidd of Newport.
Jake was part owner of Integrity Paving and Sealing Company.
On September 2, 2000, he married Amanda Lang who survives with a daughter and 2 sons: Breanna (Darrell) Tidd, Heath (Vivian) Hutchinson and Jakob (Laken) Tidd, grandson Brantley James, brother Ronald G. Tidd II, sister Tracy Tidd, special niece Katelyn Tidd and nephew Eric Tidd, mother-in-law Brenda Kidd and 2 fur babies, “Roxy Jo” and “Ozzy Ray.”
He is preceded in death by his father, his brother Jason Tidd, brother-in-law David Dutton and his wife Charlotte.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday (April 24) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Newport Cemetery. Family will greet friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 and on Friday one hour before the service. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
