Ronald Lewis Heiney
Ronald Lewis Heiney, 71, a long time resident of New Matamoras and previously of Marietta, passed away at his home following a period of declining health, July 15, 2026.
He was born in Parkersburg, WV, on August 31, 1954, a son of the late Roy C. Heiney and the late Annabelle Hutchinson Heiney. Ron had been employed by the Ohio Valley Cab Company.
He is survived by 2 nieces, Janelle Waldrep and Andrea Waldrep. Preceding him in death are his sister, Pamela Heiney Waldrep and brothers, Charles and Dennis Heiney who died in infancy.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. and a service at 11 a.m. at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Monday, July 20. Burial will follow at New Matamoras Cemetery. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
