Kathryn Grace Bowen

Kathryn Grace Bowen, 98, originally from Marietta and currently residing in Canal Winchester, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019. She was born January 24, 1921, in Marietta to Charles Haskett Ingraham and Clara Whitney Ingraham.

Katy graduated from Marietta High School, class of 1939. When residing in Marietta she was a member and past officer of Tuesday Crafters at O’Neill Center and she loved reading, crocheting, puzzles, playing cards and board games with children and grandchildren. She had been a member of the Sixth and Washington Street Church of Christ.

On June 15, 1941, Katy married Ralph Wilson Bowen who passed away on July 19, 1979. She is survived by her daughters: Deanna (James) Collins of Hughes Springs, TX, R. Lynn (Ted) Shockley of Canal Winchester, Bonnie (Brian) Zimmerman of Cardington, OH and Sherry (Tim) January of Lewisville, OH; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Friend Whitney Ingraham and Charles Ingraham and sister, Pauline Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (April 8) at 10:30 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment following in Warren Chapel Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
